The Black Crown Hurricane Comfort 4.0 padel racket is the most accessible version of the new Hurricane line. It shares the mould of the Hurricane Pro 4.0 but adopts an SSW Super Soft White EVA core that markedly softens the touch. From the Marta Marrero collection, it is rated by Black Crown at 45% power and 55% control: manoeuvrable, comfortable and stable.

The 12K Alucarbon face brings the rigidity that touch-oriented rackets often lack, and the SSW Super Soft White EVA core returns energy without demanding a firm strike. The ball comes off cleanly even on a moderate swing, for a stated split of 45% power.

This is the whole point of this racket. The SSW Super Soft White EVA core is the softest in the Hurricane line: it cushions the impact and makes the strike far gentler on the arm. Vibrolow technology, housed in the handle area, completes the vibration filtering.

The 5D Extra Spin finish textures the whole hitting surface to improve grip on contact with the ball. Combined with a soft core that keeps the ball on the face a little longer, it makes it easier to apply spin to bandejas, topspin lobs and sliced balls.

The teardrop mould inherited from the Pro 4.0, combined with a soft core, opens up a generous sweet spot and forgives off-centre strikes. The 2TB AIR tubular frame keeps everything stable: the racket is rated at 55% control, the highest share in the Hurricane line.

Like the Pro 4.0, the Comfort benefits from the side openings drilled in the heart area that lighten that part of the frame. At 355 to 370 g and with its soft touch, it handles easily at the net and stays lively in fast exchanges.
